ok, so let's just move past the fact that these are from *gulp* october...
I could seriously go on and on about this wedding but it's about midnight and my eyes are red and droopy and I bet my kid will be up in about six hours so I'm going to have to make this pretty quick. So I'll pick one thing to point out.
If there was on thing about this wedding that I never want to forget it was the bride's dad's speech. Or rather lack there of. "Dad" stood up, he took the mic, he pulled out this crumpled piece of binder paper, opened his mouth and nothing came out but a squeak. An honest to goodness squeak. He cleared his throat and tried again. "Squeak! Cough cough." He loosened his tie, cleared his throat again and even from about 25 feet away I could see the tears roll down his cheeks. He wiped his eyes, lowered the mic walked over to his baby girl and handed her the speech he had written. A hug and a kiss and he sat down. The MC that night said "One day when you have children you'll understand what just happened there."
Three years ago I would have politely giggled at him from behind the camera but that night I cried like a baby right along with him. Suddenly it was my little girl all grown up in that white dress and omgosh guys I was bawling...it was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen and I've never been so happy to be a parent than I was at that moment. I was so thrilled to know a love that deep.
And now I'm crying again sitting here alone at my keyboard at 12:08 on a Friday night...ok, enough. On to the pics. : )
I think those are a bit out of order towards the end but you get the idea. It was an AWESOME party. : )
